10 days on the road

Day 1-2: Munich, Germany (Oct 6 – 7)

Munich is a stunning city. From its traditional beauty to it’s delicious cuisine and friendly locals, the capital of the Bavaria region of Germany is not to be missed. Home of the infamous Oktoberfest, once a year this city really comes alive with music, dancing, awesome outfits, delicious food & of course plenty of local beer.

Day 3-4: Hopfgarten, Austria (Oct 8-9)

Whether you’re into stunning scenery or extreme adventure, Hopfgarten is Contiki’s own little slice of paradise. For years travellers have been coming and going through this corner of the Austrian alps & one thing’s for certain – as well as being Europe’s adventure capital, this place is simply beautiful.

Day 5: Venice, Italy (Oct 10)

This teenie tiny city in Northern Italy is made up of 118 islands in the middle of a lagoon, all separated by canals and connected by bridges and boats. With a rich past in trade and the arts, this heritage listed site is truly magical and is a crucial piece in Europe’s cultural history.

Day 6-8: Paris, France (Oct 11-13)

Paris, j’taime. This beautiful city of lights will have you in love instantly – there’s just so much to see! Marvel at the statuesque Eiffel Tower, or the Arc de Triomphe. If it takes your fancy explore the incredible art galleries & museums or tantalise your tastebuds & try out snails & champagne. Paris is everything you’ve ever imagined.

Day 9: London, England (Oct 14)

Riding on the back of its success hosting the 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, London is one of the hottest destinations in Europe right now. Flirt with its conservative past with a cup of tea or check out some of the world’s greatest street art, and thriving music scene to match – London pretty awesome right now.
